Gary Vaynerchuk builds businesses. Fresh out of college he took his family wine business and grew it from a $3M to a $60M business in just five years. Now he runs VaynerMedia, one of the world’s hottest digital agencies. Along the way he became a prolific angel investor and venture capitalist, investing in companies like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Uber, and Birchbox before eventually co-founding VaynerRSE, a $25M angel fund.

The #AskGaryVee Show is Gary’s way of providing as much value value as possible by taking your questions about social media, entrepreneurship, startups, and family businesses and giving you his answers based on a lifetime of building successful, multi-million dollar companies.

Gary is also a prolific public speaker, delivering keynotes at events like Le Web, and SXSW, which you can watch right here on this channel.

CCTPL says:

how do I know if I'm fit for entrepreneurship

Yes. AT FACEBOOK. They would be nowhere near that at almost anywhere else. Besides, where are people gonna find that great born entrepreneur? For example I know zero people who I could trust with that position. I've been in corporate culture, and they have no f*cking clue whats going on. I just don't believe in big companies. It's difficult, low pay, big risk (they fire you, lay you off, or they are going to automate your job in the near future or the company goes out of business), they are going to need less and less people to operate, while more and more people are going to look for jobs partly due to overpopulation and etc. I'm writing from a shit country, you Americans have it better, but still. I'm planning to get out of this place as soon as I can. I think there will be more and more solo entrepreneurs, really small businesses in the coming future. There will be no other choices, but to build it yourself. I only wrote this because you imply that if you will be a supporting member anywhere, you will win. Well, that's not exactly true (and I think you know that, that is just how I understand it from you).

Very motivational talk by Gary.

What does it take to be an entrepreneur?

No. I grew a 3million gross dollar business in 4 years. I makes 150k/yr. That isn't fucking good enough! Dont tell me it is!! I have the power to save the world!!! And you're fucking telling me I should settle for "successful"?!!!! Fuck you!!!!! Fuck you!!!!!! People will die if I dont achieve my 10yr goal and Im no where fucking close!!!!!!!

Talon Kishi says:

This is a conversation everyone needs to have.

can't hear what he's saying…music competing with his dialogue. really want to hear dialogue

Jason Cook says:

I think this is some of the most important stuff to put out there. How we build the picture of success is insidiously toxic.

Sean Moen says:

Gary, my milestone of success before I was 30 was breaking 100,000 a year. I did it, but I did not respect it. This video really hit home for me. I made amazing money for my talents and did not appreciate it. Thank you for the wake up call.

GENYO says:
