Awesome Tip: Are You Prepared to Chase Your Dreams? | Gary Vaynerchuk Original Film

If you think you’re not in a position to chase your dreams, the one question I have for you is this: What are you spending your money on? If you’re not making the inherent sacrifices necessary to live your dream life, I implore you to reevaluate your why. The process of “trying to accomplish” your dreams is much better than dwelling and not taking action on your dreams. Stop caring about what other people would think if you failed. To have a winner’s mentality, you have to stop caring about other people’s opinions of you. At the end of the day, you’ve gotta get quiet in your own head because it’s your life.

HOW TO STOP CARING WHAT OTHERS THINK:

How to balance sacrifice with loving the process? Now I'm in a job I hate, but I feel I need it as a step for the next leap, does that mean I'm doing all wrong or that I'm doing all right?

I am so ready…to take that leap of faith… I do not want to look back years from now and regret never taking a chance.

I have a dream. I have a greed dream. Just one , not many dreams. Census2020

I have sacerfised my life more less my (health) to help others people need to learn it does not take nice things or a lot of material things to be happy to love life and give love my DNA will one day help and improve health care especially #cancer and different diseases like #marfindisease but I don't cry over spilled milk life is short I look normal when you see me. But that said I will help where I can and when I can Garyvee you always put it out there like it needs to be said I appreciate your videos your advice.

Real talk I had to check my self. I was going to shows all the time and I realized wow….I’m making these people rich and what am I doing for me. Yes there’s nothing wrong with being rich in experience but there comes a time when you need to ask yourself do you want to experience more by creating richness for others? Doing that now and still going to shows here and there. A healthy scale back.

Man I've done it I've sacrificed alot, sold my home, (live in the back of shop) lost a 6 year relationship, drive a pos car that won't go over 40 mph, invested every dollar I had and it's just not working out, I'm struggling to eat every day, I love what I do and know I can do it but mann when is it time to to say that was fun time to move on with my life …idk I guess that's really the last thing I want to do but mann times are getting hard … I own a skate shop in Nebraska the shop idea all started when I was 14 two years prior to that me and a few buddy's started a skate team called wisper with out the h kids just being kids and then on my 14th birthday 2 of my friends passed away, I called the ones brother cuz I couldn't believe it and that day I said to him "someday we're going to make wisper into something ,that was our life back then man and it's super cool we made it into something but it's just not supporting itself ..i guess I just need to work harder and push the fuck out of online sales through social media but fuck it's hard waking up knowing I have no money for the register or food or gas to even go anywhere ..maybe take a step back and work a job for a week or so but idk.. any advice from anyone reading this would be appreciated

Love this! Agreed 100%

YoungBizWhiz says:

Spending money oftentimes helps people cope with being unhappy with their jobs/life. Sometimes you feel you "deserve" to spend money on a really nice meal or show/event, etc. to help you cope with being unhappy during the workweek. It can provide a mental break for you. Some folks drink alcohol to escape… some watch Netflix or sports to escape… we all deal with it in different ways.

I wanted to study computer science and engineering but I am forced by family and kinda made a disappointing decision to study mbbs. But now as the class started i am not able to focus and becoming afraid. 20k $ was spent for mbbs which is non refundable. What should I do now

Victor Brown says:

I love what your saying why? I am paying more rent because the station is across the street from where i live which means no car and the things that go with it. now mind you time management is important in my life! because things don't always run on time and i am starting to cut down or wipe out any expenses to continue pay rent, utilities, food and transportation the "negotiables". It will only get better, will I change my mind one day… Maybe until then i am grinding and learning how to be more. @vlbrownpmg

roni says:

I never buy dumb shit and I'm planning on moving to Europe cuz its cheaper to live there. But still my dream gets me into such a hard depression cause the odds are just not rooting for me and if I don't make it then I don't have any other plans, I'd probably live on the street. I wanna be happy but it's so unlikely

Ryaan200 says:

Gary vee you are the best

NashlyNails says:

I am looking for content creators (for our industry),
marketing people and anyone who thinks they have value for our small business. When you have a dream it should be defined. I am chasing mine and would love if you are interested to be part of it we should talk. I think the GaryVee community is where to look because if you are interested, we are probably similar. My business sells manicure and pedicure products. We don’t
have money upfront but are willing to work out a percentage for sales that are
attributed for your direct work and more importantly build a relationship. We
work out of Denver, U.S. however your location does not matter. Respond to this
comment or email me at Steven@NashlyNails.com

Another good one. Thank you Gary. So many people want the result and not the change. I like how you said it "what are you bleeding for?"

Rich G says:

Tails it is.

I wouldn't be surprised if D-Rock edited this whole film by himself….while waiting for a flight!

Marwa OLA says:

Today I was rejected at the university ,when I told my mother I felt I was a failure ,but I have a dream and I will not give up
